Annabelle Agbo Godeau

Annabelle Agbo Godeau (1995, Paris) creates compositions from fragments she collects from digital and traditional media. Often resurrecting forgotten figures from archives, her works subtly reference power relations at the intersection of gender, race and social issues.
She earned her MA from Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2018 and currently lives and works in Düsseldorf. Her recent solo exhibitions include Die eiserne Hand, Galerie Alexandra Romy, Zürich (2021), A spectacular Woman, BPA, Cologne (2021) and Stop Searching ( got everything you need), Sonneundsolche, Düsseldorf (2021).
