La Lys glisse - Boat tour through the Latem School

Experience a unique summer Sunday aboard the boat hotel De Barge. Cruise from Ghent to Latem and dive into the fascinating story of the Latem School and the artistic encounters along the River Leie in the 1920s, guided by Sofie Lattré. Along the way, enjoy a delicious brunch and let yourself be carried away by the scenery and stories.

The highlight of the day is a visit to the MDD museum, where the exhibition Memory of a Summer immerses you in the story of a generation of artists who met and inspired each other along the Leie’s banks.

The barge departs on August 17 at 10:30 AM from Koophandelsplein to Sint-Martens-Latem. Afterwards, you will walk 3 km to MDD to visit the exhibition. After the visit, you will sail back to Ghent.
