Open call: MDD Collective

During the weekend of 11 and 12 July, MDD’s youth collective invites three to four emerging artists to present a work in the museum garden, in dialogue with its surroundings, architecture and landscape.

For this open call, the idea of the “frame” takes centre stage. Starting from Isa Genzken’s work Fenster in the museum garden, we explore how a frame determines what we see and what remains just outside our field of vision, and how it shapes the way we look at the world.

Selected artists will receive:

• a material budget of €500
• a participation fee of €350

Transport and insurance of the works will be fully covered by the organisation.
