Departure of Antony Hudek in 2023

Antony Hudek will step down as artistic director of Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens on 17 February 2023 following the completion of his three-year term. He has been instrumental in the renewal of the organisation and artistic programme of MDD, overseeing the first renovation of the museum building. During this challenging period, Hudek has led the museum to its next chapter by giving exposure to MDD’s collection its programme, and the Woning Van Wassenhove and sharing his professional expertise with the team and all stakeholders of the museum.

The board and his colleagues are very grateful for his achievements and the incisive manner in which he took up his position. We wish him all the best in the future.

With the appointment of Goedele Bartolomeeusen as business director earlier this year, Hudek was able to ensure the internal transfer of know-how as well as the continuity of the museum’s programme and operations.
