Time, and time again – Works from the Vermeire-Notebaert collection

The second exhibition devoted to the private collection of Hendrik Vermeire and Arne Notebaert focuses on historical representations and transhistorical connections. Time, and time again conveys the freedom that wide-ranging private art collections can afford, through unexpected historical juxtapositions and aesthetic leaps.

The installation includes works by contemporary artists Giulia Andreani, Mandy El-Sayegh, Rirkrit Tiravanija and Jordan Wolfson in conversation with artworks and furniture from the 17th and 16th centuries as well as ancient Chinese and Coptic sculpture.
